This is a terrible compromise. So much pork. Not as quick as pure EVs. And all that BMW complication. Still requires a plug to get the EV benefit (and needs to be plugged in more frequently).

You have an example.

Drivers in the machines capable of causing death bear a greater responsibly to drive carefully.  They misbehave, they hurt others.

Just require CDLs for vehicles over a certain size/weight.

You’re pointing the longer term effects I refer to. In the shorter run (ie lifespan of those alive today who might complain about burning less gas), lower demand will result in dramatic price stabilization.

4th: Even die hard gas-a-holics should revel in the fact that EV use is reducing demand for oil. In the span of the rest of their lives, reduced demand will help keep prices low enough so they can continue coal-rolling and otherwise offsetting all the benefits that those who buy EVs are doing by eschewing fossil fuels

The idiocy of people like you is astounding.

Doesn’t really matter, as all PJs are equally awful for environmental reasons

It’s not the “garbage” infrastructure.  It’s garbage climate policy that’s allowing temperatures to rise.

Elon didn’t help with daily MSRP adjustments.

BZ4X deals on leasehackr were nothing short of amazing. Some under $100/month.

Teslas share of the market will inevitably get smaller.

EV sales rose 14%. Is that year-on-year or March to April?

I left the exact day Elon closed on the sale.  My life is better.

Exactly.

What a twat.

You going to touch that hood?

Was it an EV?

I learned the hard way that brand new car body panels in boxes in the bed of a pick up truck really need to be tied down.

Polestar 2s are solid, and share lots of components with Volvos (C40, XC40), so parts shouldn’t be a problem longer term.
