You going to touch that hood?

Was it an EV?

I learned the hard way that brand new car body panels in boxes in the bed of a pick up truck really need to be tied down.

Polestar 2s are solid, and share lots of components with Volvos (C40, XC40), so parts shouldn’t be a problem longer term.

Cheap EVs (<$10k) will be snapped up quickly. Think first teenager cars, etc.

A white guy.  Will get off.

“cyclists should not be in the road if there is no bike lane or in an area with sidewalks that are rarely used”

It’s Texas. So this guy will be put in front of a firing squad, right?

Neutral: Motor Trend has a great counterpoint:

With an EV with sufficient battery you DONT have to plug it in every day.  I plug mine in maybe once a week. I’m not always needing to be tethered to a plug like I would be with a PHEV.

The minute one red cent was subsidized to oil/gas was the minute any talk of “Free Markets in the auto world died.

They don’t need the electric part. At all.

Fascists gonna fascist.

Yes. All ICE Camrys are hybrid. Still ICE, no matter what marketing Toyota sells you.

Ok, this person does not need any sort of plug in car.

Plug ins. This isn’t about hybrids.

Garland should investigations to see if their taxpayer subsidies are funding their lobbying and lawsuits against the mouth that feeds them.

A whole bunch of white men (finance bros) definitely love licking Elons boots.  They wish they could be him.

IMO it’s the worst of both worlds:

And it shouldn’t have to be subsidized (through building inefficient infrastructure, supplying you with cheap oil, etc)
