My point, which many seem to miss, is that these sovereign citizen people should be told ‘if you’re sovereign, go to where think you can be sovereign, which is not America’

Excuse me? Never seen one of what? A sovereign citizen? You’re right, I haven’t because they don’t exist in reality.

No, it won’t. Plus, the USA is the biggest offender country.

BMW is treating it as a powertrain option (and Hyundai to some extent) and it seems to working for them.

These illegals should be deported to wherever they claim they’re from.

Well if you keep burning fossil fuels the sea floor will be farther away, so may as well start now. The deeper you drill to reach the sea floor the more you kill whales with sonar.

Considering where we are 5x sales in 8 years is not a tall order. Other countries have done it.

Thanks!

I learned a shit ton in Econ 101. It should be required in High School - and graduation denied if you don’t pass it. Then folks would stop blaming Biden for the inflation spike in ‘22.

Oh I know what’s its like in most of America - it fucking sucks.

I just signed a deal for a ‘23 iX M60 with under 5k miles - $30k off the new price.  Probably could’ve gotten more, but damn it’s so nice. Never imagined *I* could have something so nice.

Appreciate your analysis. The mental block is spot on. It’s why soccer dads think they need an F150, when they really just need a Honda Fit.

Agreed. Car ownership should not be a burden, a necessity for life. In America, for most people, they are. It’s amazing to go to Europe and be able to rely on transit to reach even some of the most remote of places.

It was predicted 25 years ago.

Exactly.  Toyoda spent more than a year formulating pressers to lambaste EVs because his company is way behind.

So if you have a PHEV and actually plug it in, then there should be little excuse to get a regular EV and eliminate the gas engine completely. Of course, spoiled Americans can’t be bothered to be even the slightest bit inconvenienced on their twice yearly road trip where they might have to stop for 20 minutes extra

Hybrids made by Toyota are ok. 15 yo Ford hybrids. Where are those? Junk yard, most likely.

1st: Well I am going deeper into EVs: I pick up my iX tomorrow.  And I can’t fucking wait.

Is that why EV prices are coming down across the board?

Due to the relative scarcity of old EVs on the road and limited supply chair for new EVs, of course parts are harder to come by (now). In 5- 10 years (after millions and millions of EVs have been on the road for awhile) the story will be different.
