Akio, is that you?

If Tesla is ‘lowering the price by $1000’ until March 1 when it will raise prices by at least $1000, it means they’re just not calling it a rebate, something automakers have done for decades when they want to move metal.

Like I said, I’d take your bet.

I wANT mY EV wAgON!

2030 is a long time (and not so much in many ways), but I’d take your bet. I think EVs will over perform and Volvo will be rewarded. Will there bumps, yes, but the switch will happen.

Hybrids were the “rage” in 2004. On my visit to Japan in 2019, almost every other car was a hybrid.

I guess click-bait is the M-O on the internet (of course it is), but it’s extremely annoying that you insist on writing headlines that suggest

Vote Elon off the island!

I mean, that’s what Tesla is selling with the 3: an EV Focus that can make fart noises.

“The used options around $18k are insanely better than a cheap new car.

That’s kind of what Elon is attempting.

The state of EV demand? You mean the 1.2M vehicles sold last year?

Wow...so Ford makes a claim and suddenly there’s so much skepticism.

May happen soon. Lots of 3 year leases (2021s) are coming on to market this year.

Neither of those are EVs. But ok.

10 year old non-tesla EV is a very teeny, tiny, non-existent market. The Leaf is it.

I’ve had my Polestar for almost 3 years (June) and the lease is up in September. The only thing I’d wish is that it was a wagon. The space utilization is piss-poor, but it’s so nice to drive.

...and Fisker and Vinfast and any of them. Hell, throw Lincoln and Buick in as well.

A lot of misinformation out there.

“added unlimited range.”
