Gas prices have more to do with it than anything else. Gas prices go up, demand for EVs goes up. Gas prices down, EV demand goes down.

But in the background ICE vehicles are heavily subsidized by way of oil/gas subsidies.  

There is a small, finite market for $65-100k EVs. Tesla found that out. And the others are quickly finding it out too.

Agree, PHEV are the worst of all worlds.

All I have to say is first eliminate ALL subsidies to the fossil fuel industry.
