Again, no cops around either.  What part of ‘no one’s around’ don't you get?

If no one’s around...how so?

An ugly addition to an ugly vehicle.

Maybe the compromise is first 100k vehicles have no price cap.

Too bad.

As a cyclist (and driver), I will say that I stop at lights (and then proceed through it if there is absolutely no traffic around) and will slowly roll through stop signs (again, if no traffic anywhere in sight).

Both should be cited. Cyclist ran the light - stupid move - he’s the one who’s going to die in this situation.

I know.  It’s awful

Drivers need to slow the fuck down.  This is their own fault.

Only cars under $55,000 are eligible. That number rises to $80,000 for trucks and SUVs, however.

We seem to have forgotten that over 1,000,000 Americans have been killed by COVID.

Get a Sienna and get 34 miles per gallon.  More space efficient too.

Having an EV now, I can’t imagine only going 24 miles with an entire gallon of gasoline - that’s a LOT of fuel. So wasteful and dirty.

Thanks for all the maths.

leaving the state in droves

There are issues, sure, but the most prevalent has been COVID allowing more to work remotely.

CA: lots of people leave and even more move in.

This is a good idea. I hope all journalists call the hotline before publishing articles that crap on EVs because of ignorance, like that recent WaPo road trip from NoLa to Chicago.

He should take the credit.

Nah, he’s still lost.
