I bet you’re a riot at parties.

I just didn’t see him.
I tested the V60 T8 before buying the Polestar. If you can have a vehicle and not need it to put the kennels in, I recommend going full EV with the Polestar.
Old $4K Jag for sale...
Isn’t the tax like, 40%? So, that would be $18000...
Ironically, BMW is blowing through it’s 200k allotment before they ramp up full EV offerings.
Yeah...I didn’t even think about the taxes and insurance. That’s something he’ll have to pay for as well.
I was wrong. The avg transaction price is now $47k. Which is insane.
A 16-yo in a new $40k truck. What could go wrong?
I know you’re referring to the T8. So you were at $43k after rebate vs. the model in question here at $35k after rebates. So $8k more. I was doing the base vs. base comparison, and the Polestar is the better value ($35k vs. $40k)
No smart money would buy a Prius. Even at current gas prices it would take 8 years to makeup for the expensive purchase price of the Polestar.
Goose brought up the S60/BMW/Audi/Merc.
I charge at work once per week. I’ve only had use EA on road trips. There’s one nearby (10 minutes) but I don’t need to use it much, good to know it’s there.
Yes. My employer is committed to increasing EV use.
The problem with this argument
My electricity is 23 cents/kw in MA.
Gondolas are proposed as glossy, high class alternatives. But they’re used primarily in ski areas or in areas where gov’t is too poor to provide anything but bare minimum to even poorer people. That image in Medellin is key.
With the Federal tax credit, this is actually cheaper than a base S60. In some states, the added tax credits mean it’s even less. Herein MA it’s $10,000 total, which makes this $4000 less than an S60 ($40k).
Entitlements?
A lot of companies make $30k cars and sell them for $50k. I feel like almost any new car that bases at $30k can be optioned to $50k without too much effort.
