What about the s2000? Or any sport bike? s2000 has the higher liter/hp ratio of any production vehicle without forced induction. They have 180hp sport bikes in 1 liter. You see, those are built to go fast, not last long time. It’s a bit of a compromise.

Well, the engine may not have very high peak numbers but the 180 lb of torque comes in just below 2k rpm. The engine is tuned to be able to pull a low right off the line, which is what a truck is for. I do agree though, it’s very poor for a 2.7 liter.
