This is how I’ve figured it too. I call it my “Ramen Budget” when my wife and I go over it. Based on that, we could live for a LONG time without work if absolutely necessary. It would suck massively, but it would be possible.

It gets even better when you add in all the weird stuff Google does with Chrome beyond the Chromecast. You have ChromeOS which is a weird semi-mobile OS that is essentially a glorified web browser... and it has its own store and app format.
