Most race cars for the street are either stripped or modded in some way. Most of those people could careless about ‘build quality’. As long as he chassis is capable and the driveline is strong and modd-able

I have two of the worst built Dodges of the last 40 years. Non intercooled Omni GLH turbos. Beat the hell out of them for 15 years now. Short periods of 18 psi boost pressure with stock injectors and cast pistons. Motors rattle like hell from ping. Havent hurt one yet.

Laughed out loud for a while at that one.
