Seems to me Toyota did the same thing for years with a floormat/acceleration issue that they hid. Toyota had to be forced, kicking and screaming, to perform a rather simple recall - trimming a gas pedal, or replacing floormats. And internal memos had engineering laughing at how they could save a few bucks by talking

Now comes the Congressional inquiries, the days and months of testimony....wait, this is an Asian manufacturer. Ok, carry on.

'A shit ton' is not nearly what it will cost. Most of these cars, if they needed both bags replaced from a light front hit, would be considered totalled.

Since obviously the mere presence of THC in the blood (which lasts up to 30 days) has nothing to do with intoxication, this thing is useless. The next step is determining at what point you are unfit to drive. I have a feeling that is going to be tough.

I've had and have many very relaible US domestics. Everyone I currently own has well over 100k miles, including several Chryslers. Chryslers I would put up against anything in their class with similiar miles, and there would be no comparison.

Cars and Concepts did both. The F bodies GM and the G bodies Mopar.

I currently drive that body for a winter car here in MI. An '89 2.5 Turbo. The design is bullit proof. Save the weak n/a 4 banger, the rest of the van is rock solid. Everything still works. Handles, lock cylinders, hvac. Even the R12 still worked last spring when I finally pulled the clutch connector so it

I currently have an '89. I drive it daily for a winter car.

Which is ridiculous imo.

Yep, it was left field.

It's hard to imagine another fighter turning that hard at speed.....

While the new Viper had a rough launch, the old, 'old and grey' Vipe, needed only three hours setup to pretty much smoke that and any LFA 'bling edition' on a 7 minute lap.

Now playing

Damn shame. But with manufacturers producing cars like the Hellcat, The Boss, and the ZL1, the much larger dealernetwork and warranties on these cars make for a tempting alternative to any aftermarket tuner. 700 hp was the tuner-only realm 10 years ago......

We used one of these at the dealership back in '81 for a parts chaser. They also made a D-50 diesel.
