I wouldn’t call it a hack but over the numerous years of writing I have instinctively learned to raise the side of my hand off the paper and place the weight on my middle, ring and pinky fingers when writing to avoid the smudging. It works well for spiral notebooks too.

I have to respectfully disagree about VLC being the must-have on MacOS. It certainly remains my go-to on Windows but on my MacBook, Project IINA has taken it’s place.

It’s gonna be an Ubisoft weekend for me. Bought Watch Dogs 2 from the July 4th sale and I’m having a blast with a couple hours into it. I saw they added a photo mode to Far Cry 5 so I’ll probably take that for a spin and I also started playing AssCreed IV again last weekend and really getting into that as well.
