Is that true for any phone with Verizon? I still have an unlimited plan on 3G - if I bought a new phone on my own, even a 4G capable able, would I still be able to keep my unlimited plan if I just change to the new phone and don't change anything with the plan?

I have been very happy with my Incredible 2. The screen size is perfect for me, anything bigger is just too big for me. That said, if and when Verizon strips me of my unlimited data plan I will definitely make the upgrade. Now if only they would release Ice Cream Sandwich for the Incredible 2.
