I mean I think he sounded pretty fucking pissed. But I didn’t interpret it as him being mad Moonlight won or bitter or jealous AT Moonlight or anything. I kind of just interpreted his aggressive affect as being pretty pissed overall at the situation. I can imagine how disappointing, shocking, and frustrating it can be

Yeah, I thought the Lala Land producers handled it with exceptional grace. They took it on themselves to announce that they hadn’t won, quickly got out the message that Moonlight had won, and tried to reassure the Moonlight team that this was all real and they should get up on stage. Like that’s a lot of crazy in

Moonlight: Best Picture,” spat Horowitz.

The only moral abortion is my abortion. The only time I do not insult Obamacare is when my insurance is cut. The only time I promote gay rights is when my child comes out to me.

Ugh, the most exhausting part of being a Type A personality? Not the drive, not the competitiveness. The horrible, constant feeling that if anything goes off plan you are letting everybody down and will not be forgiven.

They also should hand out a a free copy of The Grapes of Wrath to everyone that votes GOP or for Trump. It’s the absolute best rebuke to anyone who claims Ayn Rand as their role model.

Nor elephant riding, swimming with dolphins, trophy hunting, fur wearing, etc etc etc. I can go on and on about how humans abuse animals for nothing other than selfish gain.

Another sad tale from the book of: Animals do not exist for our entertainment. Not this. Not horse racing. Not dog racing. Not circuses. Not Sea World. Not that island in the Bahamas with the pigs that they let suffer there for tourism. None of it.

Happy Birthday!

It really warmed my heart to see so many families with kids at the Oakland march. It was doubly cool to see all the signs they made (my kids included!).

Goddamn all of these wonderful parents. Those kids are so lucky.

Jenna: “Once Trump got elected, I was like, I’m going to be here—and comments I got from other people in my life that voted for him, like ‘I don’t understand why you’re even going, it’s not like you can change the presidency.’ And I was like, okay, thank you, because now I know for sure that I’m going.”

I think my favorite moment during the march was listening to the man behind me very matter of factly explaining to his 7- or 8-year-old son that they were marching because a lot of people discriminate against women just because they’re women and one of those people is our new president and it’s important to speak out

I was literally yelling at my TV.

OMG you missed the cutest woke man there.

FUUUUUUCK THAT GUY

Mary Ann Carmody sounds like a lovely lady. I hope she got a glow stick.

Since Jane who very much is an ignorant slut dismissed my comment, I’ll repost it here:

I don’t see him as a legitimate President either. Thank you Rep. Lewis for your continued bravery.
