I’ll bet you’re a goddamned delight in person.

I struggle with anxiety, so sometimes starting a huge new game billed as an epic experience can be overwhelming. I worry that I’m not playing a game ‘the right way’, so I look endlessly for tips on how to get ‘the best experience’.

This isn’t a new phenomenon. Snobbery has always been part of our cultural landscape.

As a kid way more into games than movies one of my earliest scares came from an unlikely place: Chrono Trigger.

This sort of strike doesn’t seem feasible without folks in other roles also putting pressure on management to make changes. There are simply too many moving parts involved in the creation of a video game for the effects to really be felt if these folks step away from production.

Sone thing that caught me off guard: the calling card mechanic. I liked to cut things down to the wire when it came to finishing Dungeons in prior Personas, so when I got to the Treasure room and found a mechanic that forced me to wait a day before finishing up I got royally hosed.

I feel the same way about Coney Dogs. Those tubes of mystery meat slathered in “Coney sauce” and enough onions to choke a horse make me nostalgic af.

I listened to this, and after taking my headphones off realized I was wearing a Members Only jacket.

They should have put you in charge of marketing, because the game you described sounds much more coherent than the game I played.
