Yup! I'm happy to see her leave that frat house and develop her own voice. Haven't watched the Daily Show for months . . . But I'll definitely watch her new show.

Well, until only recently, banks would not participate in any way with the medical or recreational weed markets, which meant no business loans. So, if you were going to start a weed business, you had to have the cash to do it. Between acquiring retail space, construction costs, the state licensing fees, the cost of…
Most of these cases are complaint-driven.
Well weed might be legal, but being brown/black still isn’t.
I’m still angry at Erdely in this situation, but also find it pretty unfair (and a little ironic) that she’s the only one in this situation whose reputation as truly been destroyed. Jackie remains protected by anonymity, UVA and Phi Kappa Psi have been redeemed in the public eye (rightly or not — we can’t know), and Ro…
Except that education is the only answer.
You’re assuming I have the time to work on one (free time would be great!), or a garage (most apartments won’t let you do work in their parking lot), or the skill or inclination (not all car people want to play mechanic.)
The Versa isn’t a terrible car, though. I view it a lot like I do James May’s Fiat Panda—a reliable, cheap, economic car. And the hatchback version is kind of comfortable.
My judgement is a little more structured:
Do you think ABC has a shrine to Shonda somewhere? Because... Damn.
Just two days after ABC announced a new development deal with Kerry Washington, the studio has also signed a deal…
...”It means the pool of legitimately qualified candidates is disproportionately white and male...” There is so much more to it than that, but let’s focus on the question of legitimate qualifications. Because I mentioned Supreme Court Justice nominees earlier as an example let’s stick to that example. For some who…
For what they are, I think Teslas are incredible. But I agree that in a more normal car, especially something upmarket, these would not be live-and-let-live issues. If you’re willing to pay to show how much you care about the future, though, then by all means enjoy your effed up robot doors.
““I am totally willing to overlook the issues if Tesla fixes it.” She went on to say that that if she had similar issues with her Cadillac Escalade, she “would be furious.””
So, i don’t believe it. Seems like a ploy to get paid. Good for them?
You don’t need cable and Internet should only be $80/mo max. I don’t see how you spend $50/day on food for 2 adults and 2 young kids NOT eating out. What do you eat? SF actually has reasonably priced produce compared to most major cities because it’s closer to where stuff is grown. $1500/mo on food is unfathomable…
The 2 year old does not “need” his own room. Your kids can share a room, you don’t need to move to a three bedroom apartment.
The degree to which the chaebol dominate the Korean economy, to this day, is astounding. Imagine, if you will, that the only corporations in the US were the Fortune 500 (both publicly and privately held), and that everything was a subsidiary of one of them. Actually, make that the top 100. Maybe even just the top 50.
Think of your life/family like a business. There is a such thing as sitting on too much cash rather than “deploying it” to better use, such as investment or education. Companies maintain good credit, in part, so they don’t have to hoard cash — and banks are willing to lend to them during lean times. Back to the 401k…
