If this year in TV has taught me anything, it's never accept trial by combat.

Thanks, runemima. That WAS classified information.

doesn't mean anything unless mounted on sharks

That's... what? At some point I'd just say fuck it and play a video game or something.

Oh I know - there's probably a meme out there about how ABC would name (and doom) legendary TV shows if they were in their clutches. I am sensitive about Selfie being referred to as idiotic crap as it was in my opinion the best sitcom of this fall, and it got shot in the head before mid-season.

When Skye shot Ward, that was literally my reaction!!! HAHAHA to all you Skye/Ward shippers, SEETHE! Ward still sucks!

A friend from the states came over to Norway, and was facinated by how few brakes there was on the telly. His question was " how do you find time to do stuff while watching tv?"

Selfie was a treasure. Direct your anger toward shows whose stupidity reaches past the title.

Hey, I quite enjoyed Selfie myself (despite the silly title). Can't agree with you on that one.

While the title "Selfie" is pretty awful, the show itself was pretty damn good, after they ironed out the kinks in the first episode or two. I am still pissed about its cancellation because it has deprived me of well-dressed, hilarious John Cho.

Selfie was actually considered by many to be not too bad a show when it ended. The name is stupid, but apparently the characters and jokes were okay. Not an instant classic, but not the trash bin material its name invokes.

Selfie was a legitimately funny and clever modern take on Pygmalion. If you didn't watch it I think you're probably just mad because they called it 'Selfie.'

To your third point, "Selfie"s actually pretty solid now that it has some steam behind it. Shame it's already been cancelled and banished to the Phantom Zone (Hulu-only airings).

My thoughts exactly. They all just want to sound smart and pretend they are not like the rest of us sheeple, and they get validated by people co-signing their BS. I'd like to see one of these people write a story or screenplay; something without tropes or cliches or what ever it is supposed to be correctly called.

Skye on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. She was pretty lame last season, but I suspect she is about to get really badass on tomorrow's episode.

So gross, but so funny. Kind of reminds me of the movie "Waiting"

Oh man, I'm so ready. I'm so ready to illegally download this...um, I mean wait until it's released in the U.S. on Netflix, Tuesday night.

Also, world. MFA's could learn a lot from non-fiction, particularly those about things rather than personalities. Even when reality prevents the structuring of a well-designed narrative, the joy of seeing events come and swirl together would teach how important a plot is.

wow.. I just wrote the exact, exact same thing, then looked down and saw you already said it.
