I'll admit it: in the beginning I was completely dismissive at this emulation (appropriation?) of Japanese culture, but over time have become utterly impressed and flat out wowed by the imagination and commitment of cosplayers. Seriously. You're awesome.

I think in general Snyder (and even more so Bay) are part of an outdated type of film making where EVERYTHING has to be pretty, but nothing has to make sense.

I traveled to the Con at 4am one morning to see a panel in Hall that didn't start until 5pm. I got in at about 3:45m. That was the day the Avengers were first assembled together on one stage. I consider myself lucky.

You're not going to believe this, but waiting in line for Hall H is part of the fun. You make friends with the people around you, talk, laugh, play games, commiserate. It's a bonding experience.
