Oh yeah. I take 5htp to help me sleep sometimes, and always have extremely vivid dreams with much potential for lucid control. I can usually dream about what I want if I think about it right before bed (when taking that supplement).

They did a test back in the 1970's where they let participants sleep as much as they wanted, until they hit REM. Once they did (and began to dream), the participants were woken up. They did this for a significant amount of time.

I honestly think that someone in these studios (the lame ones) do not give audiences enough credit and feel like they need to make every single episode a freak-of-the-week (or incident of the week) type formula. So many shows have proven that they can break free from this mold and succeed on massive levels.

This show is so awesome. I love where it goes—where the writers take it. It seems like they don't magically "forget" things that happened in previous seasons as much as other shows.
