That’s an important consideration for sure. Mine has the old 14-bolt heads that inevitably fail on the valley-side of the motor. In pulling them to replace the gaskets (and have the heads reconditioned), I also wound up replacing the cam, lifters, pushrods, rockers, water pump, timing set, FPR, fuel injectors, oil…
For those in the ‘burbs, that could mean pulling out a rake instead of a blower to get those pesky leaves off your driveway.
