The OHL is made up of kids ages 15-18 and are not eligible for the NHL draft yet. The kids get drafted after they declare their interest in playing in the league. After the draft, the kids are put up by the team in housing (typically by a host family) and then are paid stipends for their services (fair market value).…

This is the dream I have for basketball and football. Bring the OHL model to the other American sports.
