Hell yeah! Count me in. I wonder if Capcom has any plans to continue the X series as well. I feel like if they were going to try a new direction with the series (a la Legends) they would create a new side-universe or use X. Or will they just keep making 2D ones like 11?

Mother! was okay, though too heavy-handed. But I don’t know why people were so baffled by it. It starts as a movie and slowly slips into a dream that becomes a nightmare. It operates by dream logic at the end. It’s artsy fartsy but it sticks to its allegory and it knows exactly what it wants to be.

When was the last really good Marvel video game? All that comes to mind are the Marvel vs Capcom series and some of the Spider-Man games. Ultimate Alliance and X-Men Legends were pretty fun for their time as well.

Making underwater melee combat fun is the main hurdle. I think the key to doing that would be focusing on momentum. You can’t just transplant Devil May Cry’s combo mechanics to an underwater setting and expect it to feel right.
