I’m a God-fearing civilized human, so I don’t know any of these “Australia” references, but damn if these designs aren’t great. More than a few of them, like the Rainboa, would actually work as Pokemon pretty easily.

Gundam Battle Assault 2 was also a pretty good fighting game.

Those twin joysticks were so cool. I wonder if that series will ever make a comeback.

I’ll set my phasers to “cautiously optimistic” until it’s actually in my Steam library.

I like Lucio and he’s one of my most-played heroes, but yeah, his athlete/musician thing kind of bums me out. It wouldn’t be so bad if there was another black guy in the game.

That said, I’m from Louisiana and this skin makes me think of New Orleans steampunk, and I just got it in a loot box...so I’ve made my peace…

Samurai Shodown needs a revival. That series was just dripping with unique style in an era of Street Fighter clones.

Actually, Virtua Fighter needs a comeback too, if only so I can annoy the hell out of people with Lion again. But with SNK’s heavier dependence on fighting games, I’d expect a new SamSho before more VF.

Ghost in the Shell is too smart to be effectively translated into a streamlined American blockbuster, which is what this movie wanted to be. If some weird auteur had made it this might have stood a chance, but I still fail to see the point of adapting something that was most well-expressed in its original form anyways.
