I haven't seen much but grumbling from Ward, but I believe he'd be capable. Joy is the kind of character I latch to - the Laurel Lance school of talented actresses getting underserved by scripts and characterization.

The only actors seemingly capable of charisma were Joy and Colleen.

It's strange but I'd rather dicuss it on AV Club than, say, The Mist.

"You kicked my in the nuts every chance you got!"

I didn't say anything about the acting though, I just thought it looked ridiculou.

It's kind of a weird trend that, with this and Ouija: Origin of Evil, incredibly shitty horror movies keep getting entertaining, somewhat scary prequels. Were there not any inventive directors or half decent script writers available for the first films???

Oh god, that entire scene where he literally jumps into that guy's car and just drives around a parking garage for like ten minutes. It was so bad and a better actor could've at least elevated the material, but Finn Jones just kept whining every line out.

Anyone watching Room 104?

Lauren Lapkus would have made a better Webby, but that opinion might be due to the fact that Lauren Lapkus improves everything.

I'm trying to fight my way through Iron Fist before this comes out, but Jesus, the pilot took me 2 days to get through. Finn Jones leaping over a car was funnier than anything I've seen in a comedy this year.

Psst. AV Club. Review Room 104 instead.

Goddammit, that's on me. I'm pretty sure it's because The Hangover came out in 2009 and I consider both to be kinda overrated modern comedies (even though Bridesmaids is 100x funnier).

Every bit as good (and less overlong) as Bridesmaids, which I'm sure would be on everyone's best of '09 list.

Is this basically a feature length version of that episode of You're the Worst?

Romy and Michele, easily.

Andy got tamed down a lot for both shows if I'm being honest - the Andy of the show would never take a camper to a "Pizza Party" or let another camper drown.

Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping predicted the future.

She seemed to be the only actor in the most cast giving a semi-compotent performance too. Tara Reid still just seems confused.

Whenever he was on her podcast, it always came across smug, like he felt like he was doing her a favor by being on it. She seems like a nice and genuine person, hope she's doing well.

I genuinely didn't know that and I respect the pronoun change - not up to me to judge anyone's gender identity - but my criticism of the casting stays the same. At least Jeffrey Tambor now seems to be aware of that, which shows that he's listening to the trans community.
