Oh, also the plot twist on Eli origin herself. Which sadly omitted in the Americanized version 2 years later, and most likely on this show adaptation too.

I didn’t see the remake, but the Swedish movie really got me with the pool scene - it’s a real crowd-pleasing moment until you stop to consider who’s actually getting murdered, and you realize just how bleak everything is. That's what I love about horror movies.
You should watch the original Swedish film.

Why not just watch either the 2008 original film or the also worthwhile 2010 American remake film instead? Much less of a time investment than trying to commit to a full TV season, plus there’s a 99% chance that this series will pale in comparison to either of the movies.
God I can’t imagine trying to pad this story out to a full season of TV. Granted this is a problem with most books-turned-shows (Handmaid’s Tale being the most obvious example), you’re taking a story that had a beginning, middle, and end, and turning it into an open-ended “We’ll stop making this when the ratings go…
I’d like to know from some of the cast - comparing their favorite scene to actually film, and after they finally saw it all together, what was their favorite scene after getting to watch it? Was it the same or did it change?

Fair. I think my opinion has little to do with this woman in particular and more to do with my general distrust of “Christians” who need a personal experience to find empathy. I’m pretty bad at giving them the benefit of the doubt about...well, anything, really.

Growing up, I knew Carol Kane from The Princess Bride and Addams Family Values, so the fact that she’s only 70 today blows my mind.
