This stupid shit is why it’s hard to take Christians seriously.

Oh, no! Now her kids will never learn all of those important ethics and principles only the Catholics can teach...

Celebs gonna celeb but getting engaged to someone you met under pandemic circumstances and don’t know any other way strikes me as bad idea. Just like we all learned a lot about what people are like under stress and inconsistent public health guidelines, you don’t really know what they’re like “at home.”

jus sayin

Instead, she’s portrayed almost as a usurper to Williams’s throne. You don’t see this on the men’s side, where both Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer have been allowed to co-exist as greats in peace.

Has Trump tweeted about it?  OH WAIT!  I BET HE HASN’T!

Many years ago I scored(?) a huge stash of Alfa Romeo factory tools. Like, the ones that the factory would force the dealership to buy as part of the official repair procedures. Which is cool and all but even after selling off bits and pieces for years I’m still left with a big-ass tub of very heavy and mostly

That was the first “adult” TV show I watched as a kid. I started reading newspapers at an early age and always gravitated toward the Entertainment section (back when even a small city paper had its own film and television critics.) It was also my introduction to James Thurber. I remember the show being championed by a

Yep. William Windom and Lisa Gerritsen. I was a kid then, but I remembered it even though it lasted only a season. I think of Caroline In The City as My World’s romcom stepchild.

You aren’t kidding! Blair Brown was brilliant. Cast was superb. Writing and direction were knockouts.

Happy Endings should have had Friends-level success.

Wow, this is bleak. I mean, Emily in Paris has as many nominations as Small Axe. Also, when is Rhea Seehorn going to finally get some appreciation for Better Call Saul?

If I understand this correctly: basically, Reddit figured out how to manipulate stocks in the same (legal) ways hedge funds do, but the apps people use to make those trades are essentially owned by the hedge funds. To stop the hedge funds hemmhoraging money, they’re forcing the apps to stop allowing (not rich) people

also this happened today and I’m pretty sure it’s a sign of the end times,

“Thankfully, Cloris’ immense talents were very well acknowledged and she lived a long, uncompromising life.”

I’ve worried about her for quite awhile.  A minor with this kind of fame is just a recipe for disaster.  Her coming out really makes me less worried about her.  That she seems to be able to freely express herself and isn’t being stifled by management or stage parents seems like a good sign for her future.

I lost my interest in ellen when she had the talent showcase whether its “audience” talent or invited talent, where the segment have a king joffrey’s “entertain me” vibes.
