I like to see well made movies and I hate scary movies. The dilemma is there are some very well made, very scary movies.
The movie had two goals. Both goals were achieved.
Mad Men: It may have been an immersive, extensively researched and period-authentic show but hearing her as a nurse (picture below) immediately pulled me out of the show’s reality. (I have the same reaction when I see Jon Hamm in a movie: “Look, there’s Don Draper trying to catch a bunch of bank thieves.”)
