I didn’t notice the cigarette before. I watched that show religiously and certainly don’t remember him ever smoking.
It is a very well made movie with an excellent cast but it has ... problems. Gugu Mbatha-Raw by herself is a reason to watch. But it must be viewed in the appropriate environment.
Have a nice day:
I’m late to the show but a friend showed me this a few weeks ago:
I’m of the mind the mic stand went through the stage and there was some prop person under the stage who was holding the lower end and helping it move.
I was in one of those places in an affluent suburb once. I left when I realized they were holding a “Who is the most obnoxious college student” contest. What a bunch of insufferable, entitled brats.
My favorite line from the movie Major League when the batter steps up to the plate and talks to the catcher: “How’s your wife and my kids?”
(Ignore the user name; I’m a guy)
The X-Files episode on Jan 31st started with two teenaged girls stabbing each other in the dark on a rusting ferry at a dock. In the context of the show, they were suffering from hallucinations that the other girl was a monster, planted in their minds by a third character.
I had a relative who, before he retired, was one of the most senior homicide detectives in the LAPD. He told me once that when a married person is murdered or dies suspiciously, the investigation starts as if their spouse was responsible, until they have reason to believe otherwise.
