I know. I listen to the 538 podcast :). But, like you said, it’s a goofball question, which I don’t think tells us much or reflects people’s true beliefs other than that both candidates are incredibly unpopular. I don’t believe people would rather die and have everyone they know die over a Clinton or Trump presidency.

These polls are a joke. Why do Maddow and Jezebel feel the need to cover them?

Imperfect no doubt but worth looking at the full Clinton statement from 2014 (which was in line with the Obama administration). She supported deporting unaccompanied children after family members can be identified.

I don’t think Sanders’ immigration track record was particularly strong either...
