    YES. I so agree with you. “Always believe the victims” was the mantra that was used in the southern U.S. when black men were falsely accused of assaulting a white woman. Who needs a court with its standards of proof when a lynching is so much less complicated.

    Even worse, the witness who lied the most did have her own lawyer so what's her excuse?
