1) In what sense is the Silmarillion nonsensical?
2) The Silmarillion was left unfinished, in case you didn’t know. Christopher did all he could to piece it all together, but J.R.R. tinkered it his entire lifetime.

Racist? The man who fought the Nazis and even wrote them a letter just to reply with an epic response while insulting Hitler and praising the Jews and Germans? You don’t understand the point of Middle-Earth, clearly. It is supposed to be part of the European cultural heritage.
