Can you point to any statement of any Israeli official that has said that they would end the bombardment and not go forward with the ground invasion (that has been “imminent” for the last 3 weeks) if Palestine released all the hostages. I haven’t seen any suggestion of that whatsoever.

I repeat; Palestine can end this conflict any time they want by releasing the hostages (taking hostages is recognized as a war crime by thr UN btw) and surrendering. Babies instantly saved.

This is a great point.
