Maybe the pope gets it that Trudeau sells himself well, but leaves a lot to be desired. Trudeau kan personally hug every (cherry picked) refugee at the airport so it looks like Canada is so welcoming towards refugees, while in fact they take up less (in absolute and relative numbers) then the US.

Took Germany at least 50 years though. I remember strong anti-Germany sentiments untill the 21st century. We other Europeans started to warm up to and gaining respect for Germany late nineties.

I thing I found another case of shade. Just like me, the Pope doesn’t believe that Melania speaks five languages. He adresses to her in Italian, a language she claims to speak, but she clearly doesn’t even understand that short and simple question. And I think the Pope knew.
