But Trump and crew have already cast the people of Syria as “too dangerous” to enter this country (see: the travel bans.) So he’s now retaliating for the deaths of people he views as a threat to America? He’s now sad that kids are dead but last week he wasn’t sad about all the other children who have been killed over

I don’t get it. Donald J. Trump banned people from Syria to travel to the US and then when he learns Syria is killing their own people he bombs them...should have let them come to the US in the first place to escape. Sad!

Why wouldn’t you want Obama to be from your state? That’s ok, Chicago openly embraces him

Ok, other than to say, ease up there tiger, totally wrong about Dwayne Johnson. He was born in Hayward, and his family is Samoan and black.

Who’s blaming Pop for anything? I never blamed him for a single thing. “Privilege” is not a bad word, and it doesn’t imply blame.

So, this is a really interesting topic of discussion! And you’re going to get a way longer response than you want, which you probably won’t bother to read, but here I go ...

Hey, we also have a burgeoning youth movement, with, uh, Jake Virtanen who is almost as good as Jack Skille already

She was probably just trying to make TE.

This sounds pithy and clever, but is actually quite dumb.

Set by a big Finnish winger wearing a (different, but still) Jets jersey.

“Sure, Rivers is great and all, but is he elite?”

He underachieved as a function of having no quarterbacks throwing to him, as well as two freak injuries. It’s a shame he got crushed in the draft because if you ever saw a game while he was in college, he was electric.

He should definitely bank his earnings from the NCAA and live off those

Kidding aside, the events for paralyzed athletes have the most hardcore form of doping I’ve ever heard. It’s called Boosting, and it essentially involves a paralyzed athlete breaking their own legs or otherwise causing themselves injury to the paralyzed part of the body (ETA: Including ELECTRICALLY SHOCKING THEIR

Blind sports equivalent of doping tests. Keeps the field level.

My guess is that not all players are completely blind, some may have some level of vision, but be legally blind, so the blindfolds ensure that all players are completely blind.

I think that “legally blind” people qualify, which means they have some visual acuity (“there’s a fuzzy moving object”). With blindfolds, everyone is on equal footing (so to speak).

Wow. They already have one QB who can’t stand up; why add another?

Is that even in doubt?
