Nice! I don't need the router, so I usually stick with the $10 walmart special that does everything but that, and has a little surge protection. Nice to have it work the other direction too (I've got a few European devices)

My hairdryer is dual voltage, but you have to set it with a switch. I believe it's because it's technically a "heating element" rather than an electronic device.
This. I came to say this. I was in Europe this summer and never used anything other than just a plain adapter for my laptop, cell phone, etc. No voltage conversion required.
I don't know about heels, but I do know how fucking magnets work. *hides in the corner*
Yeah, I'm pretty sure my brother (December 21) would agree with you. But I'd argue with him on principle. ;)
Okay, you're right about that. I do LOVE October. The trees up here.
I'm on the 22nd, and I still get dragged down by it. Schedules are tough to work with when you have friends out of town who only have limited weekends off. October is very often a no-go.
I know, right? Like wow, 30 years on this planet, and I've never been that awesome for a second.
What can I say? I love me some support groups. XD
He is a rockstar. I'm utterly in awe. What an amazing kid you have. :)
I want to send you one too. Let's have a cake exchange!
I end up having my so-called birthday tacked on to the birthday of someone in September. None of the elaborate planning and surprises that go into everyone else's birthday.
I know, right? Like there's always a party, and everyone's having fun, but no one cares at all that it's your birthday.
I'm not a Halloween baby (short by 9 days) but yes. Yes indeed. I haven't had an actual birthday in years.
I believe every word you said, and I think she's going to do a wonderful job. I just wish I had your optimism about how accepted she'll be.
And watch her be considered "less than" because they couldn't get the man to do the job.
I agree, that can be dangerous. It's not my particular style of acting though. Mine is usually more of the "I have a right to be here, and my work is valuable" kind of acting.
Ah, but you see, I'm unlikely ever to actually 'make it'. I've been doing this for 3 years, and every class still feels like my first conference talk. My game face is a vital part of my repertoire.
I'm using it mostly as a professional development tool. I have friends who know what a little wreck I am, I just try to make the rest of the world think I know what I'm doing. Tis a useful skill as a teacher.
