Having finished the season, I'll say that I was harsh in my comments on the first two episodes (though I still stand by my opinion that they were absolute shite). Danny is the most glaring problem with the show (apart from the shoddy script, and copious contrivances and plot holes) with his all-over-the-place

Not enough. IIRC he has a decent role in the first four eps, then doesn't show up in the next two.

Nothing in this episode worked for me. The script and dialogue stood out as the biggest offenders - the characters were never this stupid on the other Defenders shows, and throughout the episode I was frustrated by constantly questioning the choices they made. I don't have any experience with the comics but Finn Jones

Something that irked me a little is the plothole that Prometheus is seeking revenge on the Hood when, in the Arrowverse, S5 Green Arrow =/= S1 Hood vigilante. Granted, it's not exactly a huge stretch to connect two and two, but when this knowledge was apparently a huge revelation for the recruits just 3 episodes ago,

It annoys me that the crossovers begin with the Flash saving Team Arrow from gunfire. It just cheapens Arrow as a whole, and is completely unnecessary.

I liked the fact that Ray was benched. I did find it odd though that Jax got his own mission considering that he's just as powerless as Ray without Stein there with him. Obviously it had to be that way from a narrative perspective, but the inconsistency just kind of stuck out to me.

"There is some lovely, careful animation in this episode."
The animation of that scene with Lisa sitting cross-legged in the chair was distracting. The lines between her arm and dress weren't clearly defined, and it just looked messy on screen. Minor quibble, but it bugged me.

What really helped too was the crass devil - sure it was kinda annoying and not particularly funny, but it served its purpose by shifting the attention away from the two more subtle delusions - so it didn't end up detracting from the episode.

"S.I.M.P" is my personal favourite for its ridiculous(ly catchy) parody of hip-hop.

That school volunteering gag was eerily accurate (in Australian schools anyway). My sister is still in school and the exact thing still happens. It's either volunteering or a donation to the school - MANDATORY.

If you're calling out Brett Dier, I don't really see it. The entire cast is very strong, but Baldoni stands out as the sole, I wouldn't say weak link, but he's been the one character who I just haven't been able to sympathise with at all. I haven't had a problem at all with Dier.

I mean, Thea and Roy getting back together was sweet and all. But I just couldn't help but notice during that sequence that the jeans Roy was wearing were tighter than Thea's.
