Given the price of this car and the complexity of its construction they have to cut corners somewhere. It is incredibly cheap for what it is. I never understood why people care so much about minute interior elements.

The problem is that historically, the only effective tool we’ve seen that dramatically changes market behavior is taxation. Good luck getting Congress to pass a meat tax when half of Congress doesn’t even acknowledge silly things like global warming are actually real. We’re all screwed.

It has a button that you push. There are no handles inside or out. Like the article said, there is an emergency release on the floor in case of loss of power.

Don’t buy a Volkswagen.

Wait, you pull on the interior door handles and the doors don’t open? What type of hellish monstrosity is this? My biggest fear with newer cars with proximity keys is that when the battery dies you can’t open the trunk and get at your jumper cables... if I actually had to worry about not being able to get out of the

I have to say, when it comes to big luxo-barges, I really don’t give a crap about having a manual. It’s all about comfort, “adequate” power, and cool gizmos IMO.

Agreed. Making Danica Patrick or any other driver taller wouldn’t make them go faster.

Haas won’t higher Danica Patrick. They best bet is to get former F1 drivers who had a lot of experience in the modern F1 cars. Or at least one former driver and a young gun from GP2. They could also look at a test driver. Felipe Nasr went from a test driver to doing really well in the Sauber car this year.

But ramming some hapless Mexican spectator off the road sucks. If it happens all the time, that sucks too. This time it was caught on camera, so now we’re talking about it. And lines like “we will destroy your personal vehicle in pursuit of that $29 dollar Baja 500 trophy” is the kind of thing starts a shitstorm of

The fact the second one didn't punch the catcher in the back of the head is really impressive. Almost as impressive as how far she flew.

If I’ve learned anything from sports, it’s that you can’t just deck women at home and expect to get away with it.

A League of They’re Owned

These Stand Your Ground laws have gone way too far.

That’s a really underhanded thing to do.

Jesus do you work at Takata?

Im sorry but the Silmarillion was SOOOOOO boring. I read it before wikipedia existed but if could travel back in time to slap that book out of my own hand and say “Wait a year or two kid,the whole synopsis will be online and take you 30 minutes max and tell you just as much”.... I totally would.

Waiting until they recast Bran.
