Sorry, I’ll be too busy enjoying my nearly traffic-free commute on the katy freeway to fulfill that obligation. Sucks to suck.

Not according to Chevy’s website. Do you have a spec sheet somewhere which shows this?

The Braves seem to have a knack for this kind of thing

It’s amazing how people always forget that they are a willing participant in traffic and have nobody to blame but themselves for congestion.

6.2 has never been an option in the fourth gen Tahoe. Only the Yukon and Escalade get the bigger engine.

GM is purposely restricting engine choices to create a greater sense of distinction between the two models. Why would they undermine that now?

Regarding your Tahoe drivetrain comment, the Tahoe is only available with the 5.3L engine while the Escalade is only available with the 6.2L Engine. So no, it doesn’t have the drivetrain from a Tahoe.

tl;dr:

This would never be used for a roadway. Porous roads are extremely vulnerable to damage from freeze-thaw cycles. A highway made from this material would looks like the surface of the moon after a few winters.

On the contrary, it will force idiot drivers to clear the giant snow missile off their roof before they set out on the highway.

South Korea likes the arrangement because they get the protection of the world’s most powerful military. America likes the arrangement because they get access to a prime location in Asia for military operations. Between SK and Japan the USA has access to thousands of miles of Pacific coastlines for their own

There are some people who live in areas with poor or nonexistent infrastructure that are many miles or even hours away from the nearest police station or hospital, and for those people, guns serve as literal home-security systems; they should own guns, too.

The ELR has 181 horsepower. The Model S starts at 300 horsepower. Despite its better interior it doesn’t have the guts to compete in the luxury car market.

Vodka and coke isn’t often ordered at bars, but it’s a great mixed drink and I make them all the time, with a dash of bitters and some lemon or lime.

The games are usually carried on cable. I don’t have cable, just internet streaming.

The LSX is just a block using the Chevy LS architecture with a whole lot of premium features. Most high-power LS builds are based on this block, including the Hennessy Venom GT.

The wrangler sport starts at $23000, not $30000. With that much cash you could nearly buy a “base” Rubicon.

It’s actually the opposite. Any machine will explode if it spins too fast, the Tesla’s motors can’t spin to infinite rpm, and there are IC motorcycle engines which spin faster than the Tesla which still need gearboxes. The reason IC engines need gearing is that they don’t produce net torque below a certain rpm, and

It would only have to make 240 lb*ft at 4000 rpm to hit the power output claimed.

If it makes you feel better, every dollar spent on a viper ended up back in someone’s hands. Most of them are American or Canadian, with some going to oil states and FCA shareholders. Who’s to say that the workers on the Viper assembly line or at the parts suppliers don’t need the money?
