Sounds like an Onion headline: “I’m Actually a Great Guy” Claims Angry Jerk

Probably minority opinion: The nepo baby issue is overrated. The last name gets you the interview, you get yourself the job. And she’s absolutely right that the expectations are higher.

besides the hate crimes and the hate speech? Middlebrow action flicks, mostly redbox stuff.

I mean.... the man committed a series of violent hate crimes. I don’t see anyone calling for him to be “canceled” or boycotting the movie. I can still enjoy his performances in The Departed and The Other Guys, but I think it’s totally fair to keep bringing it up.

Seriously, why must repeatedly acting like a sack of shit give a guy a reputation??

I assumed it was about him single handedly stopping 9/11.

Man I always thought nostalgia remakes of stuff people were into as kids were stupid but I guess they just hadn’t gotten around to my generation yet, I am stoked for all the cartoon creators of my childhood getting to reboot them to appeal to their now adult fans.

Bruce Greenwood was fucking fantastic and can take over as WB’s default Batman voice as far as I’m concerned. But Dietrich Bader is a very, very close second.

AKA the entirety of Bob Kane’s career. What a fucking thieving con artist piece of shit Bob Kane was.

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the MAX business model is and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.

There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

Bite my white, grease-painted ass.

it immediately drops audiences into a darker, 1940s-inspired era of the vigilante’s history that we’ve never seen before.

Too bad Superman can’t use “begging the question” correctly.

Bring back John DiMaggio, he did a great Joker in “Under the Red Hood”.

And of course, there’s Jeffrey Lebowski (the *other* Lebowski...the deadbeat) spilling his guts out to his cabbie.

I hate when my Uber driver wants to talk. Most don’t, thankfully.

Don’t hate. Those Uber drivers can get it out of you.

Paul Dini is more to thank for the high quality of Batman TAS and the DCAU than Bruce Timm is.

I think BTAS is one of those cases where the many creative limitations on the show, while frustrating for the writers, actually made it better.

That and having a group of talented writers/artists to push back and tell him no. To be fair in interviews BT has acknowledged when those others did so for the better and how their ideas/contributions helped make the final product better.
