He was only the Showrunner on Season 1 of Daredevil, so I don’t think this is about his specific position.

The filmmakers haven’t said anything about it, to my knowledge. I’m just giving my interpretation. The CGI in one set of circumstances is completely different from the CGI in the rest of the movie. To me, that suggests an intentional choice.
Don’t even get me started on Uncut Gems. Well-made movie about people I hate constantly shouting and stressing me out.
Unfortunately, yes. Some people have been stepping up to help the crews, though. John Oliver booked a comedy tour to raise funds for his crew, and five of the late-night talk show hosts have launched the Strike Force 5 podcast, with proceeds going to their crew, for example.
When they’re inside the Speed Force / Chronobowl / whatever, all the CGI looks like this. In the normal world, it doesn’t. So, it’s obviously a stylistic choice, rather than just “bad CGI”. I don’t think it was a good choice, necessarily, but it does appear to be deliberate.
Probably, but likely they’d be movies like Brokeback Mountain, where he’s not a highlight.
I stopped watching the show years ago, but when I did watch, I’d usually watch the monologue then skip to “New Rules”. I found the panelists arguing and talking over each other to be stressful.
Maybe he’s pissed that Dave Gibbons consulted on the Watchmen tv series?
Younger stars are pretty common on DWTS. Zendaya was on the show, for example.
*shrug* I enjoyed them both, although Death on the Nile less than MotOE.
I’d change the name to The Murder of Dan Aykroyd for the stunt-casting possibilities.
Oh, no! Not “Hollywood elites”!
Well, some of us have this thing called “empathy”. You should look into it.
I’d like to point out that the original Friday the 13th had hardly any Jason Voorhees in it.
You could go on, but you’d have to start listing all the shitty and/or forgettable movies he’s been in.
I mean, I just took a look at his filmography on Wikipedia, and there’s not a lot of good stuff there.
The Strange New Worlds episode was clearly inspired by “Once More with Feeling”, IMO. There were direct references (“I’ve got a theory” and one about bunnies), but just the whole set-up seemed kinda similar.
Because that’s how TV works? Every time a show is broadcast on regular television, residuals are paid to actors (and others). Why do streaming services get to opt out?
As with time travel, it’s all about the verb tenses. Dumbledore always will have had been gay.
I was generally happy with the cosmetic changes — correcting the matte errors in Empire, for example — but dislike the story changes (Greedo shooting first). Some of the FX additions were unnecessary, but didn’t bother me.
