The main difference is that in The Avengers (and even more-so in Age of Ultron), the Avengers make efforts to protect and evacuate the civilians in the area, and try to confine the battle where possible to minimize damage and harm to others.

That’s always the first thing I think of when I hear her name. But, she’s done a lot of stuff, including television shows like Big Love, Criminal Minds, and The Gilded Age.

Also, Quantumania is the first film in Phase Five.

Indeed, pre-pandemic Hollywood was producing 800+ movies a year, and maybe a dozen of them, at most, were superhero movies.  

Because that’s not what happened.  Word of God is that Hulk wished for them to return safely, so those in airplanes, etc. returned to the nearest safe place.

They don’t even need to get Bautista or Saldana for What If?. . I think Chadwick Boseman and Michael B Jordan were some of the few live action actors to reprise their roles for that. Jordan at least has a history of doing voice work. Boseman was a total surprise.

As a 50+ year old myself, the only thing I was watching on the CW was Supernatural and the DC shows. Now I am down to just Superman and Lois. So, their strategy is certainly not catering to me.

Why am I just now discovering that John Francis Daley is an accomplished director and screenwriter? I was wondering what happened to him after whatever network procedural he was on ended.

3D certainly has its fans, but how many times has it improved your moviegoing experience?

I thought he was pretty good in Rocketman, though.

If just checking for a pulse would work, then surely the whole scheme was unworkable. I haven’t read the actual text in a while, but my impression was that the drug was one that slows the heart, breathing, etc, so the person appears dead.

I haven’t seen the miniseries, but I agree with the shortcomings of the movie. Personally, I enjoy Doctor Sleep more than the film version of The Shining.

I agree. I quite liked it as a 2-part movie.

They should change her name to Sagwa and have her be a Chinese Siamese cat.
