Agreed. Honestly, I like the Doctor Sleep film more than The Shining adaptation.

She’s already sold millions of copies of this album (over 2 Million pure album sales as of February), and made a ton off streaming. You do know that Spotify et al pay royalties on every stream, right? If she only gets the average $0.003/stream, she’s still made almost $3 Million off streams for the song “Anti-Hero”…

Gotta bilk the fans of every last dollar, I guess.

I haven’t even seen it yet. I’m just tired of the “MCU is dead” narrative that is being pushed. I responded to an anecdote with actually data.  

My understanding is residuals are paid based on views.  If no one’s watching, there are no residuals to be paid.

It held it’s audience in the 2nd week more than most other MCU movies. A week later it’s over $660 Million.  Sorry this doesn’t fit your narrative.

How can they be “losing” money on stuff that’s already paid for? If no one’s watching it, it’s not really losing any money, it’s just sitting there. I guess the cost of server space, but that’s gotta be miniscule.

My suggestion? No, it’s because there would be no rear windows to take photographs through. Also, it’s the favored vehicle for serial killers and the like, so I thought it would be funny if an actual prince was riding around in one.
