This is how I feel about Blur scheduling only two shows, one in NYC and one in LA. Would it kill them to do a Chicago show? I'll drive the 7 hours for it.

It seems like that's one of the most polarizing movies of the first decade of this century, you either loved or hated its quirkiness. I liked it, if only because I knew a guy who reminded me a lot of Napoleon in speaking voice. Also, strange lines like 'Do the chickens have large talons?' made me laugh.

This documentary sounds really cool. I was just thinking today how awesome it would've been to attend The Monterey Pop Festival. The Who, Hendrix, Otis Redding, Janis, The Mamas and the Papas, and many more. I have that Criterion box set, I should watch it again sometime.

Yeah, Wattstax is great, and the scene where Rufus Thomas gets a bunch of the audience to come down to the field to do The Funky Chicken is awesome.

Yeah, I got into MTG when the Unlimited series was out, in high school. I remember when the Arabian Nights and Antiquities expansion sets came out. I stopped playing when I graduated, just basically put all the cards I had left in a folder. Several years ago I sold all the pricier ones off b/c I needed some money. Not

There's a deleted scene on the DVD where he says, "I've got so many mosquito bites I feel like the goddamn Elephant Man."

Yeah, I saw them last month and they were quite good. 'Psycho' and 'Strychnine' are two of my favorite songs ever.

I am a consumer donor whore!
And how!

The moment in that cartoon when the Sheriff is building that house in the King's Garden, and then he stops to realizes he's been tricked - hilarious.

I was in San Francisco a few years ago, and I went to this art gallery that had a Chuck Jones exhibit. There were some animation cels, pencil sketches, notes, and paintings (I had no idea he did paintings) that he had done. As someone who grew up on Looney Tunes, it was really cool to see.

There's a gag in 'Beep Beep', where the Coyote, after falling to the ground, is desperately thirsty. He sees a glass of water that he booby-trapped earlier, and, without thinking, yanks it up, triggering an explosion. The look in his eyes just before the explosion - his pupils get really small as he realizes what he's

"Tell me Holmes - at what sort of school did you learn to be a detective?"
"Elementary, my dear Watson. Elementary."

I took piano lessons as a kid, and I remember asking my teacher who the 'Leopold!' was in that cartoon. A world famous conductor, apparently.

I thought the Jackass theme song was written specifically for the show, until I heard this album. I also like 'Political Song For Michael Jackson to Sing', because it's amusing to imagine how MJ would sing it.

I bought Tonight and the Rest of My Life when it came out, and yeah, the only songs I still listen to are the ones that sound like VS - 'Badway' and 'Number One Camera'. The title track is OK too.

I remember reading that review and being angry about it. FWIW, I remember SPIN gave it a 7/10 and Entertainment Weekly gave it a B+.

The show I saw was fantastic. They sounded great and Nina and Louise's harmonies were on point. I remember during the last song, Nina was jamming, and Louise put her arms around her waist from behind and gave her a hug. Thought that was a sweet moment.

It can be two things!
Wait, am I doing this right?

Yeah, they're touring, they've got some dates lined up already. I'm going to the St. Louis show on the 22nd.

I love that album too. 'With David Bowie', 'Awesome', and 'Stoneface' are undeniable.
