You’re still here, giving clicks and feeding the beast which means they win. Eventually you’ll get a clue.

That’s pretty much how I feel after sitting through one of his cutscenes.

Just to be clear: This would simply be Twitch running a camming site.

(Also, just generally, Twitch is, and has always been, a SFW camming site. Basically everything about twitch designed to increase engagement is based off of stuff originally designed for live sex sites. Twitch is weird.)

He’s somewhere between self-aware camp and earnest, whole hearted auteur madness, but I think it works for his projects. Death Stranding is the pinnacle of this. It’s not the best story and it’s not the best game, but holy fuck is it unique. It’s unlike anything else and it doesn’t *try* to be anything else.

I await the chance to free myself from this ocean of stone.

You forgot Skull Island, which had no right being as good as it was.

She should be wary or Bill Gates might decide to cut in on her turf and start selling some of his own hot tub water.

To be fair she is, or likely her money manager IS being smart, 100% of her appeal is based on her looks, which doesn’t last, so diversifying into other business ventures is a very smart thing to do.

Having not watched the anime (but somewhat familiar with it), we really liked the live-action show. It was goofy, but it was also energetic and fun and really entertaining. The fact that Netflix dropped it so abruptly was a big bummer.

It felt like a very bleak and humorless Skins to me.

Dodgy CGI , sexposition , and unlikeable people out for blood and trying to out manoeuvre each other in a place that bears very little resemblance to the real world. Also Game of Thrones could be bad as well I guess .

Yup. If they come out in support of Russia ima have to blacklist Wee Gee.

Oh, yes. The development of these games at BioWare is going just so good. Seriously, it’s like magic!

Hey folks. I just wanted to drop in and say thank you to everyone here for all the kind words, and also for reading what I’ve written at The A.V. Club these past nine years. I know I wasn’t always the most consistent presence in the comments, even before the Kinja transition, but I dipped in fairly regularly, and for

i’m mildly horrified at the fact that so many people were willing to scan a random qr code
