It’s starting to feel like we’re in a post-Soviet Union Balkan country when it comes to this kind of stuff. Ordered a sectional sofa in November. Finally shows up today and is missing the center section, has no back foot and an incorrect pillow. Already promised my old sofas to Habitat for Humanity and am now back on

Great car, but not 2nd gen.

Same thing for me with the wheat intolerance, and gluten-free has been a gift simply because I have more food options that don’t have wheat in them.

According to the ad and article, that’s a leather interior, not vinyl.

Exact opposite of what you said, and I’m a BMW enthusiast.

Not surprising. MAGAs have demonstrated repeatedly that they have no underlying principles to guide them. They believe rules and laws are only for them to impose on other people. They are “heads I win, tails you lose” narcissists.

I live out in the country. Everyone drives a truck or SUV. The bigger issue here is super bright LED and HID headlights, which incidentally, my stock ride height truck does not have.

I drive a pickup truck most of the time, so vehicle height is not an issue, but as you mentioned, hills are a constant issue. Pretty sure my sensitivity to light has worsened now that I’m in my 40s. Terrible combination.

Stick shift for performance? No. For nostalgia? Also no.

This was going to be my question, because I can’t see how anyone could be so stone-faced upon seeing that. Thanks for confirming.

Probably realized too late that the Trucoat he paid for doesn’t actually do anything.

In the first half of the ‘80s, American was still a rung above Japanese from a class perspective. It wasn’t until the latter half of the ‘80s when C&D started recognizing the Accord, the Japanese luxury brands started to get a foothold and consumers started to admit that American cars had been shit for quite some time

I really like this thing. I’ve got a couple more years on my Ram lease, which will provide enough time for Ford to work out the early model kinks. For what I need a truck for, this would handle 90% of that with an occasional rental to fill out the last 10%. Love the cost, size and fuel efficiency.

12-year-old, $55K GTS? GTFO.

Yeah, it didn’t sound like that on the CB650SC. Damn that’s nice.

As a standard practice, it is absolutely not the contractor’s responsibility to fix a misspelling. Their responsibility is to precisely match the spec they are given.

I had a Kerker 4-into-1 on my ‘83 cb650SC Nighthawk. Not sure how it sounded on the V-Max, but it always sounded great on the Nighthawk.

Surely, if the police hadn’t chased these felonious carjackers, they would have come to their senses, returned the car intact with a heartfelt apology and never carjacked again

I think most reasonable people see “not complying” as a secondary cause of death with carjacking at gunpoint” being the primary cause. With that in mind, I think the general principle driving the responses here is, “if you threaten an innocent person’s life, turnabout is fair play.”

Is it just me, or does that boat look like it’s listing starboard-side?
