Not psychological. This happened to me the other day, and as soon as the person on the other side was done pumping, my side went into overdrive.
Why would anyone buy an SUV or minivan over the Arteon? Can the Arteon carry 7 passengers? No?
Very nice, David. I’m a little confused, though. Didn’t you just get done liquidating your fleet for... reasons? Did you and your reasons break up recently?
Actual manual transmission cars also have varying feels to them. The shift-by-cable system in a Boxster does not feel quite as direct (b/c it isn’t) as the linkage in an S2000, for example.
“Car culture really needs to end its dangerous obsession with speed”
“Fuck the GM marketing department for thinking that was ever a good idea.”
Any non-legally-required nanny or convenience feature I can’t disable.
Keyless is a great feature. When push-button start is annoying is when you haven’t opted for keyless ignition, so you still have to insert the key/fob into the dash and then press a button. Minor annoyance, but less efficient than insert key and turn.

I was thinking the same thing. With the car packed in snow, you would think running it would have killed him with carbon monoxide poisoning. Seems he got lucky twice after getting really unlucky once.
I think the real story here is the one where Torch’s wife backed into the tow ball, but then told him that the damage was “just there” when she returned to the car.
I remember seeing Krull in the theater as a kid. Probably one of Liam Neeson’s first films. Also had Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid).
