@dfp3050: Apple is withholding reception until it's just right. No irony.

@oneshot719: Wishful thinking, I know. However, why wouldn't they monitor the blogosphere to pick up on new trends, ideas, and general market feel?

I know you are listening Apple. Fix this so we can all move on and place you back in the pedestal you've grown so used to by now.

@MorganRW: I've had a few HTC phones and even with how breakable all that glass is, the iphone build quality is miles ahead of every other company. I must admit that this antenna issue and Apple's recent douchbagery has kept me from upgrading.

These guys are either really slow or these apps are just not priority to them. Maybe because you can't add a boat load of targeted advertising like the browser version. Money talks and forever will.

I was thinking of getting the iPhone 4 and as soon as the jailbreak is out, jailbreak it and install 3G unrestrictor so I could use Facetime wherever (if needed), now that's pretty much out the window.

@Peter Shultz: Did they try a data test? That seems to be the most accurate way to test

I've seen so many videos where the "weak spot" is purposely covered. Could anybody test (call+data) while holding the phone normally in either their left or right hand?

You actually believe they never considered testing the phone without a case simply because the phone that Giz "obtained" had a case on it?

@funakoshi.gichin.shotokan: You beat me to the punch. It's pretty inconceivable that with all the testing they never consider taking the case off?

So much for the one open and "free" platform.

I do agree that the signal loss wouldn't happen unless you purposely try to cover that specific spot, however, this response seems way out of touch. Looks like this might be the beginning of the end. Once an entity becomes so arrogant it can't see it's short comings and is oblivious to the world around it,

Diagnosis: Hepatitis C.

Glass babies. Serious illness.

@Ivan Kewl: First thing I noticed. It looks pretty squared. Where did he get it?

Thanks for the advertising. Now I know who to call when I repeatedly drop a $600 phone for no reason.

It seems this update eliminates dictionary support for ebooks that have been converted to EPUB from other formats and possibly ebooks not downloaded from the iBook store.

A bidet changed my life.
