Yeah, but there's also the episode where Luke whips up a fancy Italian dinner for Lorelai (that gets interrupted by TJ) and the episode where he fills in for Sookie quite capably when she's on bedrest. So, Luke can cook fancy stuff and even enjoys it on occasion. I don't think it's necessarily against the Gilmorian

Yeah, I thought the Godfather pick was a little weird. Brando's performance was iconic, but the close-up of his face isn't a particularly special shot. I would have gone with the final shot of the door to Michael's office closing in front of Kay. Or the orange grove scene. Or something from the baptism/assassination

William Daniels as John Adams in "1776."

Agreed — and on the flip side, I think the Ray LaMontagne cover that the author approves of is bland and removes every distinctive thing about the song.

Ah, I knew I was forgetting someone else! Him too. They can all join a club of badass men named Steve Austin.

"Here’s part of an Amazon review to stop you from getting considering this one for your child’s grade-school reading list, in case the book otherwise seemed tantalizing for some reason"
I was wondering if anyone would choose A Day No Pigs Would Die, because that was my answer to this question, but it's disappointing

Yes! I definitely would have put "Epiphany" on this list.

Stone Cold Steve Austin (the wrestler) and Stephen F. Austin ("The Father of Texas").

Totally agree. It has always been one of my favorites. I love Roger Miller's songs, the archery contest scene, the jailbreak at the end, all of it. Don't really care that one scene is recycled, especially if it's the backdrop for "The Phony King of England."

Yes! Totally agree. I remember watching that at a 5th grade slumber party, and being like, "I liked the old Sandy better."

Agreed! I don't believe in "love at first sight," so there are a lot of love stories that I disagree with but adore anyway. Especially "West Side Story" — the plot is pretty silly when you think about it, but I love the soundtrack and choreography!

"It is the first network show to have a majority Asian-American cast since, and we’re pretty sure we’re not making this up, 1994’s All American Girl, the famously ill-fated Margaret Cho sitcom."

There was writing on the window that said "Thai iced tea." Which I thought was weird, but hey, a BLT and a Thai iced tea sounds like a damn fine meal to me.

"What Not To Wear" was cancelled? Aww, I didn't know that. That makes me a little sad.

(Spoilers follow)

Agreed. Though, I tried to write in Liz Lemon and Criss Cross.
