I don’t think there really is a reason other than the cost factor. But if you already play PC games on a decent computer and don’t want to (or can’t afford to) buy a Wii U (or 3DS I guess) for one game, that’s more than enough if this is any good.

No, he’s the past.
He’s every one of us before the realities of the world set in.

I dunno man, Blizzard’s been doing it pretty well for nigh on a decade or more now.

I more see it as a measure of your skill. Running around guns blazing is fun but is ultimately the game’s equivalent of an easy mode. If you’re approaching a mission skillfully and tactfully (the “correct” way to play MGS), you’ll get that S rank and FOX/HOUND codename that you deserve.

That’s why we don’t let women drive in Saudi.

I don’t really undersatnd the appeal right now. From my perspective it just looks like cars flailing around trying to hit a ball and plays are easy to make since everyone is always rocketing off unable to stop them.

It becomes far less ‘geek friendly’ and much more ‘quiet urban Tokyo’. The transition is rather abrupt, so if you weren’t expecting how ‘secluded’ Akihabara really is, it’s jarring. Not that it’s bad, but it’s not a scenario where you could tourist-walk from one area to another.
