skins and cosmetic stuff doesnt sound like a big deal to me
just get a team then and play the game appropriately? its not like its hard to find people that plays those games
get after you for what? paranoid much?
seriously you liked the older ones? with mandatory talents that didnt do anything interesting but were just too big of a buff and talents that sucked? after you were done with the mandatory ones youd normally have 2-3 more points to allocate. thats ALL the options there were
well but someone could buy the IP but yea its not that common i suppose
my question is: who watches them?
well even if it has a worse cliffhanger its still not as popular as half life :p
warcraft, age of empires, alan wake, bioshock, darksiders, etc
well either he wanted in purpose to disappear (which isnt very hard if youre not wanted for criminal charges lol) or something really bad happened to him
thing is though, i thought valve employes worked on whatever project they wanted to. if that was the case, then money wouldnt be the only incentive there (theres no CEO deciding which projects to cancel or whatnot) so in theory, they could still come up with single player games?
exactly.. they just wanted a piece of the pie of these growing popular genres. something which is a bit far from innovation IMO
PC aint missing on anything by not getting those games lol
open world is actually a turn off to me (and im a massive fan of mirrors edge, even got a couple top 10 world records on time trials :p) but hopefully it turns out okay
those things should have some sort of cooldown to prevent this kind of play
first time? theres hundreds of games where they didnt make a sequel despite the game being popular. but i would say its the first time such a popular series is dropped in such a horrible way (in the middle of a cliffhanger) and when a promised game never even released (episode 3)
CS GO and DOTA are vessels for innovation? how about L4D2? its almost an exact copy of L4D1 (not that im complaining, but i dont see L4D2 as bringing something totally new to the table where it needed a whole new game)
well thats why im saying setting it up wont be very simple :p
well thats just wrong
embrace digital already!
